The Memphis Grizzlies clinched the final playoff spot in the Western Conference on Friday night with a win over the Sacramento Kings.

This will be the first postseason trip for the Grizzlies since the 2005-06 season.

“The fans were going crazy. This journey has been a long roller coaster," said point guard Mike Conley. "The city went from not supporting us as much because we were losing to being the best fans in the league.”

The Grizzlies now have a 45-34 record and sit as the eighth seed in the West. With three regular-season games remaining, they can finish as high as sixth.
