In my day, it wasn't pepper spray that they'd use. It was a boot.

How true. In my day, literally, some of the teachers would have kicked the poo out of me- warming me up for the belt buckle my dad would fillet my skin with. I still have scars. In some ways, I prefer the old days.

I would think they could have simply cuffed him. He's 8 years old.

If that's too big a challenge for them I shudder to think how they'd handle a home invasion or hostage situation.

The kid is going to be a candidate for a twenty cent 9mm cure for asshole. No way anyone wants to try and pin him down, the kid is out of control and holding a knife, just by chance he could gey lucky and cut someone or himself.

Remember. target is not just a place to buy cheep shit..hehe

So why was the kid upset? What set him off? Didn't the reporter think to ask?

    I hate crappy journalism.

Well they said last time he just started yelling on the bus and then on into the class room. His mom at the end is recorded saying "he probably deserved it"

he had a shiv, and cops don't want to get stabbed. they also mentioned he probably would have some bruising or strains if they confronted him physically.

Yeah, I read all that, and I still don't know why the kid was upset.

He didn't have a knife or a shiv... he had a piece of molding with a pointy end... Could I hurt someone with it? Yes. Could an 8 year old hurt an adult with it? I highly doubt it. Slap the damn thing out of his hands and pin his ass on the ground. I understand why they used the pepper spray, but it seemed kind of pussy by the cops imo.

Not to argue, but back in the day I did some enforcement work. Rule number one was to never under estimate someone. Be that a messed up kid, a woman or someone that looks dead.

I don't give a fuck if he had a plastic fork, deal with people high on pcp, mentally fd up or just upset and you will at times find them to have superhuman strength.

Someone sleeping or passed out is just as bad, you never know just how they will react.

All it takes is one slice in the wrong area or a jab to an eye..just too easy to get hurt or dead.
