If there was ever an offer of Magee for Oden straight up, would you consider it? I don't want to, but you get a player that has a shot blocking presence down low and doesn't need to score to be effective.

    No.

Magee doesn't make us legitimate contenders. The possibility of a healthy GO at least gives us the possibility of becoming a legitimate contender.

No, because we would still need a starting Center. If we trade Oden we need to get a Buck Williams back, an above average starter at his position. If all we can get is a bench player or a crappy starter I'd rather just roll the injury roulette wheel with Oden and hope we can get lucky.

If you gave me that offer right now, I'd take it. Mcgee's been a monster as of late.

No, I'm still holding out hope for Oden to become a top center in the league.

He's like Travis Outlaw in the bbIQ department.

I'd rather package Oden for a PG.

With the Favors pickup, many Jazz fans think Millsap will be traded this offseason. Would you trade for Millsap and go with a Millsap at the 4, Aldridge at the 5 lineup? I would.

Mcgee isn't as great as his highlights show. The guy is an athletic big so he can make plays but he isn't an anchor on D and has the BBIQ of Outlaw (as fez already said). Mcgee doesn't really make us that much better. I'd take a healthy GO for 2 seasons out of 5 then a healthy McGee for 5.

    Is this thread for real?

A 28 mpg/17 PER player on one of the worst teams in the NBA for Greg Oden? REALLY?

He plays. 2.5 blocks a game. 8 boards. 10 pts. 213 games played in 3 seasons. 0 micro fractures.

It's not that out of this world to suggest or contemplate such a hypothetical swap.

How could we give up our 0 mpg / 0 PER star?
Why not just re-sign Juwan Howard?

I would shoot for the moon with Greg Oden, not shoot for mediocrity with Magee.

No. I've waited this long for Oden. I'm willing to wait longer.

Just a question guys. And it's actually very serious. This isn't a question of talent for talent. It's a question to fans would they rather have production now or later. Even when Oden returns and becomes healthy; I'm a little worried that he may want a change of scenery. I worry that we could just lose Oden just because he just doesn't feel Portland anymore. He looks extremely frustrated. You would think he would be excited to be on this team; yet his twits and other personal banter talks nothing about the Blazers.

This is a serious and true question.

McGee is dumb as hell. No thanks. I could see trades of Oden that make sense, but I want good players with high BBIQs. Not athletic idiots.
