I was reading in O-live and you can tell certain posters are kinda "non discretely" hoping SAS rests it's players. Personally, there are 3 teams I seriously hate with a passion. 1.) Lakers, 2.) Utah, 3.) Denver, 4.) SAS in this order. I don't care if the Lakers drop to 6th and we have to face em. I refuse to cheer for a Lakers win!
I'll be rooting for the Lakers to beat SAS to help us avoid them in round 1. I used to hate Utah and Denver, but with them losing DWill and Melo it's tough to really feel the same way about them after the trade deadline. The 3 teams in the West playoffs I can't stand: 1) Lakers 2) OKC 3) Mavs
My hatred of Utah stems back all the way to the Malone and Stockton days. It started when I always noticed Stockton playing dirty and almost caused a serious injury to Porter during one playoffs. Denver all started when K-mart came to town, then expanded when Melo joined. Why would I hate OKC? And why the MAVs? They aren't cocky and they didn't do anything dirty to the Blazers. Is it because they have better records than us?
Oh and BTW... What if Portland loses to Memphis? What if Portland lands the 7th seed? The game against Golden State isn't a gimmie. I think tonight is a MUST WIN if we want to insure 6th seed, just because I worry about the Golden State game; even without Monta.
I mostly hope we win tonight so the team can take it easy tommorow, enjoy an easy practice game and scoreboard watch.
