    He basically said the Lakers DON'T want Portland in the first round. That the Lakers can't just "flip the switch". That they can play at a high level in spurts, but can't sustain it. He said Kobe and Fisher have both lost a lot due to their age.

    He also said the Spurs DON'T want the Blazers in the first round.

    In October, my thought was "you gotta win a series".
    When Oden was officially out, the thought was "that sucks, but you gotta win a series"
    When Roy went down, the thought was "that super-sucks, but you gotta win a series"
    With Crash coming on board the thought was "holy cow, we might win a series!"
    After seeing the last 2 months, it's "There's no one in the West that I'm scared of. Finals, baby!"

    You guys are overconfident. They suck now, late in the regular season when it doesn't matter, but they are very experienced in the playoffs.

    1997. Blazers finish out the season on a 20-5 run. Look like worldbeaters.

    Get beat in the first round by a Laker squad that gets swept the following round.

    Seen this movie before, but I still hope.
