NOH beats an injured Laker squad in the first round and Memphis gets swept by the Spurs.

Seriously, think about the ammo Pop will have against the Griz? Give the Spurs a chip on their shoulder saying "Yeah this team tanked to match up with us, let's punish them for thinking we are an easy win"

Then you look at all the holes of the Griz. They are the worst team in defending the three point shot, while SAS is one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the league. And the Spurs actually have players all that match up well against theirs. Don't let the regular season fool you. Spurs will man-handle the Griz.

If I was a Griz fan, I would be pissed! The Griz just told the world they fear the Lakers. The Griz have now become the first team in the West to start the post season with a "Loser's mentality". I am thankful that our team, our coach and our fans have more pride than to toss a game because they may not want to face a team in the playoffs.

    GO BLAZERS!

I don't fear the L*kers as much as I fear Stern. THAT's the primary reason I want to avoid the L*kers. You not only have to win four games, but win four games above the margin of cheating. That's a tall order.

I wouldn't be too sure of that now. The way Kobe has been treating refs, the team ranting about their swagger, and Jackson retiring; I'm not too sure Stern is all goo goo over L.A. I think his new darlings are the Bulls.

Regardless, I am so proud that our team refused to worry about who we face as apposed to having the best possible seeding. That is a winner's mentality and just proves that this team is confident they can beat any team in the league. It's good to be a Blazer fan.

    Hey guys.

One thing I realized was that LA did not rest there guys..could it be that they do not want to play us?

I would not get too hung up on Griz resting guys, I would think that we do the same tonight.

It's one thing to rest guys when your seeding is set; kinda like the Spurs did against the Lakers. I agree that the Lakers played to win because they don't want to face us. Now all they have to do is win tonight and they won't. We will see how Memphis plays tonight. If they look like they are intentionally losing the game against the Clips; then I will lose all respect for them.
