Ok..so its pretty straight forward then...jeeeesh, what a mess I would not be surprised if we shut it down tonight..I can also see the lakers and the maves doing the same
Mavs and Thunder each have a game at 5 pacific. Blazers and Lakers each have a game at 7:30 pacific. We will know by the start of the Blazers game... Mavs win, Thunder win... 50% at Lakers, 50% at Mavs, We need Lakers to win their game to avoid them. Mavs win, Thunder lose... 50% at Lakers, 50% at Mavs, We need Lakers to win their game to avoid them. Mavs lose, Thunder win... No matter the outcome of the Lakers game, WE PLAY THE THUNDER. Mavs lose, Thunder lose... No matter the outcome of the Lakers game, WE PLAY THE MAVERICKS. Gonna be crazy before the Blazers game...
Sorry, new to the forums. Just wanted to post this and share it with others. Thought it was pretty interesting. GO BLAZERS!
I like to think of it as two different scenario’s based off the Mavericks game. If the Mavericks win, we will play either the Mavs or the Lakers. (We will play the Lakers if they lose to Kings or Mavs if Lakers win.) If the Mavericks lose, we will player either the Mavs or the Thunder. (We play the Thunder if the Thunder beat the Bucks or Mavs if Thunder lose.)
Either the Lakers game or the Thunder game will be irrelevant. The Thunder game is irrelevant with a Dallas win and the Laker game is irrelevant with a Dallas loss.
All right, I'm going to change this up a bit. Assuming all teams want to win: Odds Lakers beat Kings on the road, even without Bynum: 75% Odds Thunder beat Bucks at home: 75% Odds Mavericks beat Hornets at home: 60% 33.75% All three of them win = playing Mavericks 22.5% Mavericks lose, Lakers win, Thunder win = playing Thunder 11.25% Mavericks win, Lakers win, Thunder lose = playing Mavericks 11.25% Mavericks win, Lakers lose, Thunder win = playing Lakers 7.5% Mavericks lose, Lakers win, Thunder lose = playing Mavericks 7.5% Mavericks lose, Lakers lose, Thunder win = playing Thunder 3.75% Mavericks win, Lakers lose, Thunder lose = playing Lakers 2.5% All three lose = playing Mavericks 55% chance of playing the Mavericks 30% chance of playing the Thunder 15% chance of playing the Lakers
I remember last year or the season before,on the last day we got the team we had the lowest % chance of playing. I think it was Houston.
The Blazers will play either the Lakers or the Mavs, and it all depends on if the Lakers win or not. It's basically a lock that OKC and Dallas win. Sacramento is going to be a tough game for the Lakers. Sacramento is a respectable 8-6 in their last 14 games and will be playing with a lot of emotion in most likely their last game in Sacramento. Even if Bynum was playing the Kings can match the Lakers' size with Dalembert/Cousins/Thompson and with Bynum out I'll give that advantage to the Kings.
As much as I'd like to bypass the L*kers, the good people of Sacramento deserve to see the Kings beat the L*kers in their last game. I want Phil Jackson to walk off the court hearing nothing but cowbells. Fuck the Maloofs. The Kings fans deserve better.
