This actually may be the one series where the calls might go in our favor. It won't be 8-5, but Stern HATES Cuban and his big mouth. So, the Mavs won't get any big breaks from the officials. Chandler is also a hot head who tends to piss off the refs. Our guys bitch and moan a lot less, and that plays into our favor with the refs (they are human, after all).

So, I don't expect blatant favoritism, but I expect the playing field to be level to slightly tilted in our favor.

I said the Mavs won't get any big breaks from the officials - like the Lakers do. The refs won't deliberately screw the Mavs, but they won't deliberately favor them either.

I think it's more that he won't give breaks to the other team. Meaning it will be called fairly.

 

Dude seriously I am a fan of Dallas. They are my second favorite team. But Blazers always first. And if there is one poster in this forum that follows this team with blind compassion; it's my dumb ass. I truly think this team has what it takes to win a title now. So take it for what it's worth.
