I would think Freeland would be worth a look next season (if there is a next season).

What is this ranking? And why is Claver being regarded as a PF?

(I must admit I thought this thread was about Adam Morrison signing with a Euro team.)

I'm pretty sure he isn't. He doesn't play that way for Spain or Valencia (who have a fair number of bigs).

Wow! It's a shame there's no summer league, because it would be fantastic to see those guys play. A tip of the hat to our Euro scouts for finding these guys.

Thanks for posting the info and the link.

Keep in mind, however, Nedzad's high ranking is based on a very small sample size of 89 total minutes played. It's good to see he's being productive, but I'd like to see a larger sample size before I'm convinced he's the real deal.

Freeland's stats look much more promising. Not only is his ranking considerably higher, but the sample size is much larger. Plus, he's four years younger than Nedzad.

And what's up with the ages on that site? They list Freeland as 20 when he's actually 24 and they list Nedzad as 24 when his actual age is 28.

Perhaps they think they're African? It's the Mutombo discount!

As raw as Freeland was coming into the 2007 Summerleague he was always aggressive taking it to the hoop. Remember the pre-SPL practice reports saying Freeland has been dunking all over the pre-injury Greg Oden? At 6'11", 250 lbs., Freeland intrigues me as a center.

Unicaja (uncharacteristically) got destroyed in their last game, but Freeland put up monster numbers (by ACB standards) so it's worth a watch (he's 19 in Green):

Freeland is a very quick leaper. Nedzad, though very slowly, had a nice p&r dunk.
