That's a bunch of crap. I don't miss that putz one bit, but I never lobbied to have him banned. He was, by far, a net negative to the board, but I actually don't give a damn if he's banned or not. Maybe you could explain how that means I fear freedom of speech. Go Blazers
Mixum sucked. The "alternate point of view" wasn't what made him a troll. His method and intent made him a troll. He wanted to get a negative reaction - hence troll. He could have easily chose to have a different point of view and get along. He chose to be an ass about it and now he is banned.
Mixum had a career +/- of -100, I am impressed he lasted as long as he did. For those who are talking about him being banned is a slap in the face of free speech or alternative viewpoints, keep in mind that usually a person engaging in discussion or debate brings to the table a wide range of feelings, emotions & incites. Mixum on the other hand really only brought one thing to the table 9 times out of 10 & that was "sky is falling" negativity. Since Mixum's last activity on March 15th, Blazers are 11 of 15(excluding the meaningless GSW game the other night). Good enough reason to keep him away !
Yeah I didn't mind him either. I thought he was kind of funny. I used to send him PMs from time to time just to mess with him. I could never tell if he was serious, half serious, or if it was all an act. Anybody ever meet him in person? I always wondered what he was like to roll with. I kind of figured he didn't have a huge social network away from the board.
