Seriously after watching the series; this is an impressive debut for Rose. The guy was getting hammered, and the game was at an all time higher level of contact. Rose didn't shy away and took the contact hard.

I can see why so many Bull's fans are so excited. Rose is a true warrior.

Remember we were one number away from getting the #1 pick in that draft, too. Could you imagine Rose running our offense?

I would pee my pants! He is a man among boys at the PG spot. He makes Williams look like Spud Web

Rose is the best PG in the league at the moment. His explosiveness is simply amazing, I can't think of a faster PG or one who can finish near the rim when contact happens then Rose. He gets his share of superstar calls but he is out there creating the contact every time he drives to the rim. I haven't seen a guy so fearless with contact then well Crash when he came into the league. Only problem with his game is his outside shot which his numbers have shown that he has improved on and will continue to if he works it all off season like last off season.

He's completely fearless and a warrior type player. I think he's clearly the top PG in the league.

I imagine "bone on bone" in the same sentences as Rose's name.

21 FTA is ridiculous, as is 23 FGA. Rose was 0-9 from 3-pt., so he just 'bulled' his way to the hoop, knowing he could just flip up the ball and get a foul.

Rose gets respect, but the reffing he received was totally predictable. He shot more FTs than the entire Pacer team, while also shooting 9 3-pt. attempts.

That's not basketball. That's the superstar treatment.

Now you guys know what i've been saying all along about his unmatched quickness, first step, and 110% attitude.

I've always likened his explosiveness and style of movement to a scaled down version of LeBron. I guess you could now add a splash of Kobe's "closer" instinct.

I still will hold to my feeling that you don't win building around a PG as your top player. Or don't win it all. You can be a good team.

Rose is surprising me. He is def the MVP, and I never initially thought he would reach that.

After beating the Bulls, Batum said that Rose is great offensively, but awful defensively.

That's not what he said at all. They ran his comment through Babelfish and that's what came out. Misquote imo. :devilwink:

Actually he said it in English, but my memory is foggy and I may have read it in Serbo-Croatian, so you may be right. Although "right" means "wrong" in Serbo-Croatian, so take it as you will.

I'm glad LBJ didn't come to the Bulls, Rose wouldn't be this good.

Plus, Deng works well with Rose.
