<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Washington Times - Gilbert Arenas hopes to play for a championship team and if the Wizards do not assemble one that is championship-calibre by 2008, Arenas may leave the team via free agency.Arenas's agent Dan Fagan stated that he has faith in Ernie Grunfeld to build the team up to where it needs to be, but that Arenas's top priority is to win a championship."I won't be happy just making it to the playoffs every year and that's it. I want to compete for a championship in my young years," said Arenas.</div>SourceWashington may want to surround Arenas with a stronger cast or else they might lose there star player. What are your thoughts on Gilbert possibly leaving?

If they haven't built up a team that's a contender by 2008 then I'd tell him to leave. He's one of the best players in the NBA and should be playing for a title.

I wouldnt listen to any rumors now, considering its only 2006 and so much can happen between now and then.

I'm not gonna panic for now. Ernie Grunfeld's been able to get Antawn Jamison, Caron Butler, Larry Hughes, Antonio Daniels, and some other guys in the past. With Arenas' request for him to find more, I think he'll able to fix something up.
