I'm looking into purchasing one of these boxes for streaming. Any recommendations or feedback from personal experience?
I don't play video games. The purpose of getting one of these is to get rid of cable and stream TV and movies off the internet, NetFlix etc.
I don't play games on the PS3. I use it to watch blu ray, to stream music from my computer, and now for Netflix. My kids use it for games when they come by for a visit though. Netflix doesn't stream TV, just old shows that are on DVD. When they do, a lot of people will drop cable and satellite probably.
Not sure... If you want current TV shows do not get Netflix, its only older shows and not all of them either. I use Netflix on my Xbox 360 though, but I wish Netflix did more.

BTW, my PS3 is connected to the internet, directly to my firewall/wifi router. Thus it can stream video and netflix type stuff without a need for a computer in the mix.
