I think that...He is prevent the develop of some young people in the spot of shooting guard and small forward. Gerald Green and Tony Allen have few minutes, and they must play more minutes. Now Celtics aren?t a tittle contender but they have great young people (Green, Allen, Al Jefferson, Perkins etc) and in five years they could be it. But if they now don?t develop this young talent the most safe is that when this players have to extend his contracts they say bye, and they triumph later in othres franchises...To avoid that this young people need minutes, so they should trade Wally for a PURE point guard and move Delonte to the Shooting guard. Yesterday i read about a sign&trade with Denver, Andre Miller was the player...It sounds great!!You combine veteran players (miller, PIERCE) whit young people (Perkins&Jefferson i love boths, Green, West, Allen...)A great team for this near future years...

Crazy idea: If the K-Mart for Ricky/Jaric is true, then a trade of Wally/filler for Andre Miller/filler would work out. Denver would get their shooter plus have Jaric/Boykins at the 1, and we would get our PG and create time for Gerald/Tony. Again, just a crazy though, but what else is there to do in an offseason like this with the draft 2 days away?

Also: If these Iverson rumors are true Wally is already out the door.

Philadelphia Daily News:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>A source within the league said the Sixers have spoken to the Boston Celtics, checking to see whether the Celtics have interest in Allen Iverson. That would fit the profile of Sixers president/general manager Billy King's statements about "trying hard" to make a trade; there were no details available, nor does it seem likely that anything will come of it.</div>I don't think these Iverson rumors have an relevancy at all. We'd prob have to give up Paul and a good young player in exchange for Iverson. I don't want Iverson to be the star of Boston and have him pull some of his antics like sitting in boxes when he's injured and not showing up on fan appreciation night.

AI isn't coming to Boston, although imagining him being interviewed by Tommy Heinson is pretty funny. If the Celts can get a quality player for Wally than I say go for it, but don't trade him for the sake of making a change. Tonny allen is probably on his way out because he can't play the point, isn't as good as Wally, and doesn't have the potential of Gerald Green. Green isn't ready to contribute on a winning team yet, so that also shouldn't be a reason to push Wally out the door just yet. I really like the Wally-Miller trade idea though.

I love the Wally for Miller deal as well, and I would jump all over that if it's really out there. Miller is a very good PG with great playmaking skills, he's consistant with his playmaking abilities, and he can score and overpower a lot of PG's. He would fit really well with this team.
