Re: Week 33: Them vs. Arsenal Hope for what? Nah I'm pretty jaded. I'm inching closer to the "dump Wenger" group, too. We need a shakeup this summer and if he isn't willing to make changes, he should be changed. The adjustments he made in the Liverpool game were predictable and ineffective. The team is underachieving. We keep making the same mistakes over and over. The 'young team' excuse is almost gone, too.
Then again, to be fair, 2nd is a good success but we should of done better in the FA Cup and Champion's League.
Obviously the results haven't gone our way; that really isn't the issue. The issue is the way we have lost. We've taken a chance for success away from ourselves in every competition. Sometimes we get beat but more often than that we just throw it away ourselves.
Heck of a game to watch from a neutral standpoint (btw, neutrals can go back to Switzerland and fuck themselves) but another frustrating collapse by the Arsenal. At the end of the season we'll be looking back knowing we could have won the title but just didn't want it bad enough to stay focused or put in the same level of effort every day.
