The Dynamo will hold a news conference today(4/17/2011) to announce that they have finalized negotiations to play the Bolton Wanderers of the English Premier League in Houston this summer in the Dynamo Charities Cup.

Former Dynamo star Stuart Holden, who moved to Houston from Scotland at the age of 10, transferred to Bolton last season.

Recovering from knee surgery, Holden is in town and attended the Dynamo's victory Sunday.

Based on initial reports on his knee injury, though, the U.S. national team midfielder is unlikely to play in the Charities Cup.

"It's good to finally get to the point where we can formally announce this," Dynamo president Chris Canetti said. "We are pleased to be hosting our first EPL side."
