    No way the Knicks win Boston is huge ratings too. Last years Thunder/Lakers series drew HUGE ratings so wouldn't a competitive NO vs LA series get tons of ratings? Plus if the NO Hornets can show they are still competitive there Franchise which the NBA owns will increase in value.
    A better idea would have been posting how the heck Memphis beat SA

    I would think he'd want them to have their huge audiences tuning in to as many games as possible... you really think both of those teams are getting swept?

    my guess is that it's a wee bit more likely that those series go 7 games. The conspiracist in me says the Lakers advance no matter what and that the Celtics have a pretty massive following as well so really whatever

    If the Lakers sweep does Stern make more money? If the population in LA decide to not watch because the series is boring, does Stern make more money? If the Lakers are in a "tough" series will more people tune in?
