http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedi.../content.1.html They actually have a little write up next to the player.No. 20 Rafael Araujo, Raptors No. 8, First Round -- 2004Gets the nod over Darko Milicic, mainly because Araujo is five years older than Darko, and probably won't get much better than a rookie season that saw him average three points and three rebounds a game. As was the case with Sam Bowie years earlier, Araujo's selection illustrates why you cannot draft for need, alone. He went about 10 spots higher than was expected, and about 25 spots higher than was deserved.

We don't even know about Darko. Give him time, he could just be a classic late bloomer. Give him time, seeing as his shot in Orlando is his first time ever recieving minutes.

They mention Milicic there but he is not included in the list. Some of people in the article, Sam Bowie, Michael Olowokandi, Joe Smith, THe whole 00 First Round and Chris Washburn/Shawn Bradley. Thank god scouting is better right now. It's really come a long way.

He was great big man in College, but his injury plagued career never allowed him to flourish in the NBA.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>unless you think Marcus Fizer is just hitting his prime.</div> :g: I laughed at some of these. Looking back the 2000 draft was terrible. I don't even know who some of these people even are. Jerome Moiso, Dalibor Bargaric, Courtney Alexander, DerMarr Johnson, who are these people. Bad draft.

Bad draft.</div> Bagaric is a big stiff playing in Europe right now, he was gigantic (7'1" 290). Alexander was a big time scorer from Fresno State and just never did anything, a complete bust. Moiso was an athletic beast from UCLA, some called him a second coming of Kevin Garnett but he was just a poorly fundamental flop...DerMarr Johnson is still in the league, he's a big SF at 6'9" 210 or sp pounds, athletic as hell and came out of Cincinatti but hurt his neck/back bad in a car accident a couple years ago, the guy to sum it up is a ballhog.

Available pivot men Sam Perkins, Mel Turpin, Kevin Willis and Michael Cage would even have been better selections then the oft-injured Bowie. :HAHAHA:

I like lots of these busts, i just don't like putting players that got hurt as busts because it seems kind of unfair. Dajuan Wagner the poor guy got hurt, he didn't get a chance to use his talent. I prefer to put the ones up that didn't get hurt, and just proved to be terrible on their own.
