I've only seen very little Kanter (nike summit for a year ago i think). But from the little bit he looked like he had a NBA ready body, good footwork, not very athletic though. I don't mind picking him as long as we ship Bargnani. I don't really know much about Terrence Jones. I hear that D. Williams is a tweener. Anyone know if he can successfully play the 3 in the NBA? We have enough power forwards i think.
No he's not the great prospect some people on my Bulls board have him panned out. He's a 4 in a 3's body. He is, however, extremely athletic for a 4, but he lacks the skillset to become a superstar. It doesn't mean he can't be a very good player though.
I think the Raps have enough PFs/Tweeners. They either need to take a legit centre or more likely a PG.
Our draft position will determine a lot. I can't see us drafting for need above BPA seeing as how we are a shit team to begin with. We'll get a good idea on the 17th.
Any teams that would pass on Irving? Washington comes to mind. Maybe Minnesota (seeing as Rubio might be coming over, but then again Kahn loves his point guards).

Seems to be support bubbling for the minimum age being raised to 21. The NCAA would f'n love that and I think it would benefit the NBA. That being said I doubt it will happen.
It should. The NFL hasn't suffered one bit from that system. Not to mention certain schools will maintain a staying power with the casual fan.
This is a pretty good idea, i am pretty sure they use it in soccer and international sports and it does really raise the standard of the game, it is much more enjoyable to watch then.
The NFL requires players be out of high school for at least three years. All of the top-10 picks from the draft this year are between 20-22. The 20-year olds are mostly guys with late birthdays. College football and basketball are a little different but I think it makes sense to have these guys coming into the league with a little more seasoning. With basketball the non-academic types can go to Europe like Jennings and get a few years pro under their belts, or go to the D (IIRC) and do the same.
Not only that, but look at the overall brand of the NFL and NBA and their college counterparts. NCAA football absolutely rapes NCAA basketball (March Madness aside).
