What do you think McMillan would say about his own work in this year's playoffs so far, out of curiosity?
Papa G----- well... typically I don't comment on your post but since you are on mine.. all I have to say is look at Nate's plaoff win/loss as a head coach and that should quiet you till atleast next year when you start popping off again! A GED might have gotten you ready to read some of those stats before bumping your gums!
I don't agree. He made those two shots, obviously was very confident and in a groove and he didn't touch the ball again for 15 minutes (and he made his shot then too.) I usually like Miller's game but I thought a lot of that was on him.
No, this was after the collision with Terry when he returned to the game. He made three jumpers in a row within a minute and Nate decided to yank him.
And as far as Nate failing, I feel like so far this series is a Rich Cho fail. This is a very physical series and i don't think Miller can play forty minutes, he looked tired to me in the 2nd half. Where is Bayless? Where is a strong defensive, shotblocking rebounding center; camby is showing his age, anyway one guy isn't enough?
His defense was what got him yanked......Wes seemed pretty lost tonight in rotations and defending the pick and roll
Ha! !!!!!! Your grammatically correct, well thought out and non-emotional posts always entertaining me, yardape. HA! HA!HA! HA! !!!!! HA!
Not until the Anchors that are McMillan and Roy are removed, will we once again be free to progress as a team. I'm Just so over watching EVERY other team we play, exhibit so much more class and know-how. This team has some good players, but they'll never be great whilst the shackles of McMillan are upon them.
I think overall, Nate would publicly take the blame for the shortcomings of this team. I can't think of any coaches who come out during or after a series where their team wasn't successful and says "I put together the perfect game-plan, but my team isn't talent enough to execute." Nate is an imperfect coach, coaching imperfect players.
Check out a Dallas message board after we beat them the last two times in Dallas. There are a ton of people talking about how Dallas has so much talent, but Portland has a better coach. They rag on play calling, rotations, and predictability. Even Laker and Spurs fans think their coach is predictable, stubborn, and makes tons of mistakes. Do you recall what it was like before Nate? Class and know-how certainly weren't terms used to describe those teams.
You've bitched about Miller during games several times and trash people when they do the same. You're a hypocrite.
Two of the three people most responsible for the Blazers not being a laughingstock anymore now need to go? The third was fired last summer. Bert Kolde, is that you? Some of you same people wanted to trade LMA last summer and called him soft and worthless. Funny how pretty much all of those people are now slobbering all over LMA.
I stopped doing it, which doesn't make me a hypocrite. It makes me an agent of change, calling on others to make a similar change. I owned up to my constant negative game thread posts long ago, and stopped doing it. Sorry if that upsets you, KingSpeed.
If there is one thing Dallas Mavericks fans know it's the inner workings of the Portland Trailblazers
Nate was completely outcoached. I mean bringing in a "wet behind the ears" Mills before Roy? Wow man! Good way to try and help your superstar build his confidence by letting Rudy, Batum, and Mills come in before you. Whatever the reason, Nate was a terrible coach last night. I thought he did well in game 1 though.
