Update: The Bulls appear to have settled on Thomas as their choice with the second pick of Wednesday's NBA draft, the Arlington Daily Herald reports.Recommendation: The only roadblock would be if Thomas is taken No. 1, and there is talk that Charlotte under the helm of Michael Jordan might be angling to do just that. If the Bobcats move up from #3 to #1, look for Chicago to take LaMarcus Aldridge or possibly trade the pick, as there have been rumors of a deal with Phoenix for Shawn Marion.
This has been the consensus for the last few days. This is kind of risky pick considering his size and inexperience. I would have prefered a bigger body to help Tyson Chandler but I think the Bulls know what they are doing. At least this gives us an idea beforehand where a guy is going.
Tyrus Thomas is a risk but his upside is amazing. He is an undersized powerforward but his athletic ability makes up for it. Him going this high is not a suprise IMO considering that Marvin Williams went 2nd in last years draft.
Marvin Williams was 6'9" 230 and a SF with tons of ability...Don't see how that has anything to with or compare to Tyrus Thomas.
Well if the Bulls make the Duhon trade they may get both Aldridge and Thomas. That would be pretty sick.

The only thing he said that counts as comparing the two, is he isn't surprised that Tyrus Thomas will be picked number two considering Marvin Williams was picked number two in the draft last year.
I think Aldridge would be the best fit for the Bulls, but I also think it's the best fit for Toronto (unless they trade down). I don't know, in my mock though, I have Aldridge going 1 and Thomas going 2 (assuming teams keep this draft order.. which will not happen).
Yahoo Sports. It was a link on the sports.yahoo.com page yesterday. Its legit!btw, celtics may be trading their 7th for the bulls 16th and duhon now.also...Update: The Bulls appear to have settled on Thomas as their choice with the second pick of Wednesday's NBA draft, the Arlington Daily Herald reports.the arlington daily herald..edit:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DRob-50-Forever @ Jun 26 2006, 10:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Well if the Bulls make the Duhon trade they may get both Aldridge and Thomas. If Lamarcus Aldridge is there, i don't like this pick of Tyrus Thomas at all. I think the Bulls need more scoring down low, than rebounding and defense. They have some rebounding and defense with Chandler, but they don't have someone that can score down low to take the pressure off of that outside attack. I think Lamarcus Aldridge will be a better scorer than Thomas will be in the NBA, so he would be my pick for the Bulls.
