Those three are Roy, Morrison, and Aldirdge. Now Gay and Bragnani could end up not playing up to what they can be or they will be superstars. Thats what types of players they are. IMO theyll either turn out to be great or nothing special.

I believe only two players have the chance to be superstars and those two are Rudy Gay and Andrea Bargnani. Why? Because Andrea Bargnani if put in the right offense is a huge mismatch, you can't leave him open outside and he's quicker than your average PF/C and can get by you on a quick move to the basket. Not to mention he's 7'0" and can easily pack on 15 to 20 more pounds like Nowitzki did when he came into the league. Bargnani just helped his Italian team win it's title while playing an NBA type season with tons of games, he's ready to play in the NBA. And Rudy Gay is only 19 years old and scored as many points a game as LaMarcus Aldridge. Rudy Gay is special because he does tons of damage inside like a Shawn Marion or Gerald Wallace, he has really long arms and can come in and play reasonably good defense right away. The most underrated aspect of his game is his shooting which is pretty good and he has nice form. His speed and athletic ability is off the charts and for a 19 year old the skys the limit. Talks about his lack of a work ethic is ridiclous, he improved all his numbers and played on a team where all his staters are going to be first rounders, give him a break. I think these guys set themselves apart because of their uniqueness. Bargnani is 7'0" and will score with the best of them and with his size with be a matchup nightmare which sets him apart from a lot of guys with his perimter game. And Rudy Gay's defense will set him apart from a lot of prospects and his off the charts athletism. He's coming into the league at only 19, a team is going to have a lot of fun watching him develope.

I think the superstars of this draft are Bargnani and Morrison. Having seen footage of Bargnani, I think he's going to do some thing that seven footers are not supposed to be able to do. Having watched Morrison pretty carefully the past two years, I think he has the drive to go with the talent it takes to be a superstar. It doesn't hurt that he has a mind for marketing, as well.Aldridge, Gay...I don't think either of those guys has the drive to be more than a role player. They do have the talent, so if I'm wrong they'll be great.

I think this draft is fairly deep with contributors, but lacks a couple superstars or even one franchise player. But hey, I could be wrong. I think there are about 4-5 guys with All-Star potential (not quite, SUPERstar). Those 4 are Adam Morrison, Rudy Gay, Brandon Roy, and LaMarcus Aldridge. I can't say much about Bargnani because I havn't seen much of him, but he is getting hyped.

Also, don't sleep on Ronnie Brewer people, or even Randy Foye. I'm not saying they are definite future All-Star, but watch out.

But to answer the question in one note: Nobody in this draft is a lock for being a future All-Star, let alone superstar/franchise player.

LaMarcus Aldridge and Rudy Gay are my top contenders. They played great college ball and they have good potential IMO. Other than those two I dont see anyone else becoming a superstar.

Definitely Brandon Roy, Adam Morrison, and Rudy Gay. LaMarcus Aldridge and Tyrus Thomas are possibly flukes. Also, Marcus Williams and Randy Foye seem like solid players in the draft.

I agree completely with your list, kingjamez. Except for one player: Adam Morrison. I dont see him being a superstar in the NBA, his only good quality is his scoring. He's a poor rebounder, and a poor defender (mainly because of he has bad footwork on D). I can see him being a career 16 ppg and 6 rpg player in this league, with maybe one all-star appearance.

I mean hes a great scorer but other than that hes not much else. I think he'll just end up being a good second option and have a few 20ppg seasons.. I think you have to be more than mainly just a scorer to be a superstar. The guy does have a lot of heart and determination though. Ill give him that.

I think he can be a Glenn Robinson type player but Glenn had 30 pounds on Morrison. It will be interesting to see how he assimilates to NBA play.

I'm going to say none. The two potential ones have been said in Gay and Bargnani, but in past drafts, you knew who had that special gift and would become a star player. This draft, it's about potential and too many questions for each player. I say there will be good all star players, but franchise players, not sure.

Rodney Carney, Randy Foye, and Kyle Lowry will all eventually be All-Stars IMO.
