This is by far the best team Andre has been on, so no surpise about not winning. As for Kidd, he hit some 3's. He does that to everybody in the league. Big deal. Andre left him in the dust with his head spinning around the basket several times. It was clear which old man still has the moves and speed.
So if we don't win the series is LaMarcus' contract deserved? Is Wesley Matthew's contract deserved? Is Gerald Wallace's contract deserved? Is Brandon Roy's contract deserved. He has yet to win a playoff series. It is ridiculous and illogical to question the validity ONE player's contract because the team losses a series.
PapaG is only trying to rile up the forum. He's played this card before. It's like he just threw down his best slammer, but nobody told him that pogs went out back in the early 90s.
If the Blazers don't win in the playoffs, none of those contracts are 'deserved'. Since this thread was about Miller, and NateBishop's post was about Miller, my answer to that post was specifically related to Miller. Nice strawman, though. Had you asked me a question about all contracts, instead of posting the dumb rant I just read, you'd have seen my answer. Instead, you look like a guy who can't follow a linear argument.
So according to your "logic", only the players of one team out of 30 have "deserved" contracts since there is only one champion. Brilliant! The only way you justify your brilliant logic is to make linear arguments.
So numerous threads about Nate and Roy aren't "riling up the forum", yet one thread pointing out a rather remarkable fact about Miller is too far? I think that's your own bias talking, NateBishop.
I said nothing about winning a title. This thread isn't about winning a title, it's about winning a playoff series. It's in the first post. Please learn how to read for comprehension before you embarrass yourself further. Twice now you've tried to rebut an argument that I'm not making.
4% percent of the Top 50 assist leaders in NBA/ABA history have never won a playoff series. I thought a statistical genius like you would find that a bit interesting.
Exactly what is "BS"? Your list doesn't include the last two seasons, anyhow, since it only goes through the 2008-09 season.
Only 2 out of the 50 never won a playoff series. Let's hope Andre makes it 1 after next week. And yes, extended exposure to methane makes me dizzy.
John Wall has nothing to do with the All-Time NBA assist leaders. What a perfectly irrelevant post. Plus, Wall did kind of suck this year, but that's for another thread.
