The Blazers let the wrong coach go last year

    So, all you folks who are down on Monty - did you feel he sucked when he was a Blazer assistant?

    Personally, I think he is doing just fine for a rookie...nor do I understand why any Blazer fan would feel animosity towards the guy.

    Who is down on him? This thread is about Monty being let go in favor of Nate. I like Nate, and I like Monty. I don't see it as an either/or issue, and I'm glad that the Blazers have Nate. I'd have been happy with Monty as well, but it's impossible for me to say that he'd be better than Nate as Blazer coach, let alone to start a thread claiming it.
