Who do you guys think are the best 2nd round draft picks to ever play the game?Heres my choicesGilbert ArenasDennis RodmanNate "Tiny" ArchibaldMaurice CheeksRicky MahornDanny AingeSpencer Haywood
We can add Emanuel Ginobili to this list. He was selected like 56th or 57th if i do remember correctly. That is freaking late for a player that made the all star team 2 seasons ago

You said Ginobili so it got me thinking about Tony Parker also.
Here are some more players, from today's time though:Manu GinobiliMichael ReddCarlos Boozer Stephen JacksonBrad Miller (not even drafted)Cuttino Mobley
I agree with the players named. But how about Mark Price? And also to think Ben Wallace wasn't even drafted.

Last pick of the first round at that
This is one of those threads where the first few poster name everyone and then theres nothing left.I'd easily skip over Wallace if I was a GM. An extemely undersized center who can't score and can't make free throws.

^^ Oh yeah no doubt. I mean no one really ever knows with the draft. If that was the case, Dirk and Pierce would have went 1-2 in 1998, Kobe wouldn't have went #13, etc. There are millions of examples I am thinking of (but it's 2:30 am and I'm too tired to type them. I'm going to bed lol) but that's the beauty of the draft: sliders and steals.
Yea Kobe would not have went 13 for sure. But not sure he would have went first also with AI going first. I mean I don't remember, but did not Kobe come of the bench at first? AI came, and started he was ready right away. But yea wow it's 4 AM I be going to bed also. lol
He was an early 2nd rounder. I remember completely because we took Kedrick Brown at 11 over him even though we gave Arenas a promise (and Gil has confirmed that) and he ended up an early 2nd rounder.
