The French-Canadian promotion plans to showcase Brashear at their upcoming event in June against an opponent yet to be named. The 39-year old has three professional boxing bouts on his resume (2-1) but has no martial arts credentials. Brashear plead guilty assault in 2000 after grabbing and shoving a man at a gym for which he served six months probation.
I remember when he used to play for the Canucks and he would always be walking his dog at the park across from my family's apartment. I hope he wins.
