Rose just didn't have his explosiveness after he turned his ankle. That could be a season ender if he doesn't recover within the next couple of weeks.
He turned it at the end of the Second Quarter. He returned to play but it looked like it pretty severely inhibited his ability to attack. Not good. This team is a shadow of itself when he's not playing to his full ability.
This could explain several drives by Rose which aren't successful. He normally makes them... Let us hope that the sprain is only a light one and we will see the "normal" Rose in Game 5.
I think the bulls playing 5 will actually help them. It looks like Atlanta/Orlando is going to go at least 6. The bulls don't want to be sitting around for 10 days. If they win in 5 they still might be sitting for a week.
And if both Miami and Boston sweep and sit around for a week, that's a huge advantage for Boston and I think it gives them the series.
And... the Bulls look to be struggling to live up to their role as the number 1 seed. They look like David in Saul's armor out there, if you get my drift. I was glad to see Noah begin to step up to support Derrick. The problem isn't Derrick or his ankle, it's that two of our four stars have been too much of a non-factor. If they step up, this team will be fine going forward.
