A quiet 18/6 with 4 steals, and he held Dirk in check (20 points on 7/17) for most of the game while playing 47 minutes.

Nice game, LMA, after a rough start.

I loved his postgame interview, "I'd give Roy more props, but I'm about to pass out!"

LOL. I watched that. When he first got to the table, he asked Jason Quick, "Can I buy some energy? No? How about some legs?"

He looked off today. Hope he finds some energy to pull out a win in Dallas.

LMA did fine, but I think Nate's Post Up LMA strategy was mostly responsible for putting us in a 23 point hole. The paint should be attacked by Portland but not by LMA; he should draw Chandler away from the paint so our other players can drive and post up and so we can have some ball movement. On 13 true postups today, LMA made two shots, drew fouls twice, turned the ball over once and nobody made a shot on any of his kickouts; as it was not necessary to double team him.

Dallas's system of preventing LMA's post move was interesting; they camped a guy in the key right under the FT line and dared the refs to call a defensive 3 second violation... which they didn't do.

I agree... While Roy deserves the majority of the credit, guys like Aldridge did some nice things.

Lost is the Roy shuffle is that Aldridge made a couple of ridiculous big shots during that run. I'm still loving that game!

Agreed. Maybe not the best stat line, but he played good D and never quit.
