It was pretty interesting watching Cuban during the comeback. He was just sitting there in utter terror as if he knew what was going to happen. I can only imagine how pissed he was.

Meanwhile on the other end of the spectrum.

Cuban is pretty emo. I try not to hate the guy because he's so obviously passionate about the game, and I wish the NBA had more owners like that, but he can be such a douche and it's hard to control the disdain for him.

If I fell ass backwards into 6 billion and bought an NBA team, I'd probably be like Cuban.

Cubans awesome. I wish all owners were like Cuban. I think he's great for the sport.

I heard he was talking trash with some fans, throughout the game (can only imagine it would have been gloating, based on how the game was going), and when Roy tied it up, he left.

Maybe he didn't want to take the heat?

He strikes me as one who can dish it out, but not take it in return. I have a low opinion of him as an owner.

I was not trying to bag on Cuban, just pointing out that the guy was really in shock. My seats are basically right in line with the benches, so I get a great view of both the Blazers and Mavs benches. I was watching Cuban after just about every bucket during the comeback. He was unable to stand for the most part, and he kept going back to his soda straw over and over again trying to ease his nerves. I honestly stopped watching after Brandon made the go ahead shot because I was too busy cheering with everyone around me.

This. I love the guy, even though he's the owner of our opponent. I think he's great fun and great for the League.

What I love about Cuban is he's like a regular fan who bought a team. He loves to mix it up with other fans, he loves to be around the players and the game and his blog is hilarious. Remember the Dairy Queen incident? That was awesome! He seems to have a great sense of humor about himself.

I would alter this statement slightly, Cuban is like any regular ANNOYING fan that is unable to control himself and act like an adult. If a regular fan bought a team, you would have Paul Allen. We do, so I am happy.

I think the difference between the two is pretty telling. Both became billionaires at a young age, both have tremendous passion for a variety of pursuits in their lives, and both surround themselves with friends to help run their businesses. To this point as "Fan" owners they have had about equal success, and probably equal failures when you think about some of their organizational moves. I doubt Mark has any more passion for his team than Paul does, but one is certainly more in control during the games. So basically I feel like Mark is the classic jackass fan that you hate to sit near, and Paul is the calm fan that cheers his ass off when the energy is right.

    My take exactly.

A pompous ass given too much leeway simply because he's rich. I can't imagine wasting an hour having lunch with him.

I don't like him and I am so glad he had to eat crow all the way to Dallas. I bet his words to the fans behind him was probably "Hey look at the scoreboard!" -- "Looks like I'm not coming back fans!"

Well guess what dumb fuck, you will see us again.

I wish more owners were involved like Cuban, but I still think he's annoying.

the only reason people like him is because he is filthy rich and blows alot of money on the team, if he was cutting salary all the time, dallas fans would hate his guts.
