http://www.cbamuseum.com/cbaisiah.html Yeah..Isiah should have stuck to just playing basketball and nothing else.
There is too much to add to the list, I'm not even going to get into it all. But he is the worst GM I have honestly ever seen and he has done NOTHING to fix their problems. What did he do to fix the problems? He gave Jerome James $30M, traded their $13M expring deal (Davis) for Rose's contract ($15M per year/2 years), brought in Steve Francis (with Marbury/Crawford/Rose?), then fired one of the best coaches in the last decade just because his selfish players won't listen/cooperate with him. Then to top it off, now HE is coaching this team? Ooohh god.. I better stop before I actually let this semi-effect my mood haha.
Ruin the Knicks..? He hasn't done the best job but I don't think it makes any sense that he is trying to ruin them. I think he will do a better job as a coach then as a manager, he did pretty good back then with Indiana.
Don't forget, he brought an Irregular heartbeat to New York for the draft-rights to LaMarcus Aldridge or Tyrus Thomas, to fill the Power Forward hole.Poor Poor Job

I know Jerome James $30M was awful. And I kinda like Steve Francis, but to bring him in to play with Starbury wow. And what made me mad the most was Larry Brown being fired. The players your right were selfish, and did not listen to Brown. And I think it be better if Isaih coached instead of be the gm, and keep messing up the team. But he want's to do both what a bad idea. He should have been fired not Larry.
it kind of sucks. staining his reputation as a great basketball player. but a loooousy GM. lets see how he'll coach the new york knicks. maybe he can redeem himself.

But for real I am sure he can't be a worse of a coach then he was a gm. lolI really think Iverson would make a way better gm then Isiah. LOL I know it's funny, but AI knows how it feels to lose he had to deal with the Sixers gm not putting the right guys around him maybe he be a good gm who knows.
I was kidding about that. Jesus, at least once a day obvious sarcasm on my part is taken seriously. Lighten up fuckers!
just like everyone else has said thomas is a terrible GM, he basically is ruining the knicks even more than the GM before him did. By the time the knicks get below the cap it will be like 10 years from now and at one point dident he ruin the CBA or something like that i heard from somwere he runined one of these other leagues
I am agreeing with Heatfan and saying that i think Thomas will do a better job as coach than GM. I will take it a step further and say that i think he will do a better job coaching this team than Larry Brown did, just because i think he will be more flexible with the players. He can't do much worse than 23 wins. Larry Brown wanted to stop doing what got these players to the NBA, and wanted them to play ball his way. Well some players that will not work for, he had a whole collection of them in New York this year. Isaih Thomas will allow these players to run and gun up court, and allow these players to do what brought them to the NBA. Not only that, this guy will give these rookies a chance to play better minutes this year. He won't do as Larry Brown did, and start them for a stretch, then not bring them into the game for two games straight.
I think he'll do a better jub than Larry because he will simply play to New York's strengths. No "slow it down, grind it out." Isiah will make this team fastbreak, and play to their strengths
