Am i the only one that saw a major difference with Chris Johnson in the game? His defense and rebounding looked dominant. Id like to see him in the game more.

I think the issue is a multitude of things.

1.) Johnson's inexperience in the post season

2.) Johnson's inability to pass and score

3.) Johnson's inability to keep a body on Chandler or Haywood.

Honestly, someone posted in here when Johnson had that epic 5 minutes, that it was only 5 minutes. Yes Johnson can give us a 5 minute spark, but until he bulks up, has at least one post move and learns to pass; he will be riding pine for most the game.

Hes inexperienced but has made Dallas play like crap when hes in the game. I know my eyes don't deceive me. I dont want him starting but id like to see him get more extended minutes 15-20. He would strengthen our interior defense and rebounding, both have been putrid.

I'd like to see more CJ too, especially since Nate has said LaMarcus looks tired.

CJ boxed out Chandler out better than anyone else on our team last night. Camby doesn't box out.. he relies on his length and smarts to get the rebounds.

We can't just add minutes for Chris Johnson in a vacuum, if someone gets more minutes somebody else must get less. Crash, Batum, Camby and LA are the guys getting minutes at the 4 and 5, so out of those guys who would you want to see play less?

I personally wouldn't give him minutes unless Camby or Aldridge gets in foul trouble.

CJ has been a nice spark and a nice change of pace for 3-5 minutes at a time. More than that and we're going to get killed. Maybe next year.

I say give CJ 5 of Wallace's minutes and 3-5 of LMA's. Wallace has not played well and CJ has more length. A little less minutes for Aldridge might make him more productive when he's out there.

Yes, more CJ, but yes, only 3-5 minutes at a time. 2-3 stretches during the game (depending on LA/Camby's fouls). Reduce Rudy's minutes to make up for it.

The Mavs are killing us on O boards so as long as Johnson can stop that I'm all for playing him.

We get killed on the boards when we go to the small lineup, and Batum should only be guarding Dirk if necessary from a pick and roll, so I'd be happy to see more of CJ to keep two bigs on the floor.

Speaking of which, game 4 putting Batum or Wallace on Kidd was brilliant, as it allowed either of them to switch off onto Dirk in the inevitable P&R switch, keeping the defense balanced. And both are perfectly capable of guarding Kidd with no switch. I don't remember seeing any of that in game 5.
