    I wish Barry Soetoro would spend more time releasing documents about himself and less time locking up servicemen and servicewomen who are merely asking questions that all American citizens are wondering about the answers to.

    But we do have time to go golfing 60 times in 2 years? To take expensive vacations in Martha's Vineyard and Spain? To attend Wizards games, and make out a chart for the NCAA tournament? To appear on more TV talk shows than any other president in history??

    I guess all of that is more important than determining if a president is actually eligible to hold the office.

    The thing is, we did have time for this kind of silliness and Obama tried to take it away. :sigh: Happily, the nutcases are now dissecting the long-form birth certificate and agitating about how it's a fake, so it seems like a (comedic) gift that keeps on giving. Even Obama can't steal that from us. Just our futures and our children's futures.

    The white indicates layering, not white-out. It's a layered image, which is odd for what is supposed to be a genuine copy converted to a PDF file.

    Not sure when the layering occurred, or why, but it is curious, considering this document was stamped on Monday. Perhaps it was originally uploaded in GIMP, and not Adobe?

    Curious, and absurdly wasteful behavior. After years of delay, the WH couldn't wait a bit longer to request the certificate by mail - you know, like normal folk.

    So odd.

    After years of actively fighting, spending time and money to keep the document from being released or uncovered, spending time talking about the issue, paring with political opponents, obviously spending WH staff meeting time on the issue, spending time to insult several political opponents about the issue, all while mocking those who "waste time" on the issue, having wasted EVERYONE'S time by the uneeded willful witholding of the record, then, suddenly, a $1,000 per hour attorney needs to run a gopher caliber errand, because what? the certifacte has to be released yesterday?

    Not only that, if this was never a big deal, why even fight it? Why not release the birth certificate the first time it was asked for? All of this is really amazing. This is definitely not the end of the story.

    There's only one way to settle this. Let's exhume his parents remains and do some DNA testing. Then we can debate whether the DNA testing was faked, or if someone else was buried in his mother's grave, etc.
