America is the "Land of the free" yet we are still limited to what we can do, I'm glad this was not passed.

It doesn't matter who it disrespects those are your rights. Really I hate watching rights taken away for stupid things like burning flags. As you have seen videos of people in Iraq doing bad things they have seen videos of us citizens doing stupid stuff as well, you have to realize it goes both ways.

I'm in the military, and it really doesn't matter to me one way or another if someone burns the flag. Sure it is kind of crappy that people do it, but that's kind of what makes America a good place. If you did that in other countries, you would be shot on the spot. Having the freedom to do it in america, shows that Congress as a whole does not want to take away your freedom of speech. Now, if you set the flag on fire, and throw it into a building or theater, that's different and you should be arrested.

If you live in America, you should know not to disrespect your country like that. You don't need an amendment to tell you not to. If you do burn your own countries flag, then hope you burn in hell.

it has nothing to do with burning the flag because you hate it for the people that say thatpeople burn the flags out of respect..its weird but that's how it is..they burn the flags rather than ruin them by letting them get wrinkled lol

I would only care about the reasons someone would burn a flag.
