    If I remember correctly, to be an officer in the us armed forces, the back ground check is pretty extensive. Just service as an enlisted member there is a FBI check. Also if memory serves, a non citizen can gain citizenship by service.

    I have to think a decorated officer and POW his background would have been scrutinized even further.

    That's great, if you trust the military and the FBI to be open and honest with the general public, offering full disclosure...

    The citizenship through military service under duress clause does not apply to Presidential eligibility. You must be a natural-born US Citizen. Wherever McCain was born, I'm pretty sure there was something un-natural about the event.

    I'm very confused why you don't understand sarcasm.

    Every bone in my body is racist, because I disagree with Barry Obama. I have to hold my nose to root for the Blazers, or to even watch the OKC/Den game right now, and I vote for 3 or 4 times for the GOP candidate (fraudulently, of course) to assuage my guilt for loving the NBA and its inherent blackness.

    Chuck Schumer on the public's right to know things about presidential candidates. McCain did release his full medical records; Obama never has done it.

    Odd that Schumer hasn't been quoted on Obama's college records, passport records, etc.
