I am watching Best Damn and Christie is on with his wife, and he said the rumors of him retiring aren't true and that he'll be back next year. I'm happy, I always liked Doug Christie. Excellent defender, tough as nails, good passer, good teammate, hard worker.

Not sure, but I'm damn sure someone would take him. I'm sure if he's in a bind to find a ballclub Sacramento could always find a home for him.

He's done, I watched him play the beginning of our season and he's just not there anymore. His offense has dwindled badly(he wasn't that great before) and his defense is not good anymore. In addition, it was his attitude that got him waived, so that says something about him. Maybe some teams signs him for third string duties.

Is this guy even useful anymore? I dont think he would help any team out...he's not the same hard-nosed defender that he was in Sacramento a couple years back.

He's not a good defender just has the stereotype. Kidd hasn't been good for years but still got voted first team. Didn't some scrub drop 40 on him in the playoffs?

Because except Iguodala the Sixers D is pretty bad. And even at his age I am sure he can play better D then most guys on the Sixers. I am not saying he would have to score. Just as long as he can play solid D it be better then what the Sixers have right now on D pretty much.

His whife probably convinced him to come back, so she can get some attention.
