Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! maybe he just like Iverson lolI think he just heard the rumors and didnt want to hurt the trade(if there is one) I dont think he knows any more than us he is just going along with what he hears in the media.
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! Why? cuz they traded for Telfair? They could always put AI back at SG.PG.TelfairSG.IversonSF.PeirceI dunno who at PF and C cuz I dont know what they'll trade for AI

Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! I'm guessing Korver might need to go to Boston in a deal. Philly doesn't need two shooters like that.Al Jefferson and Gerald Green to Philly? Who knows? Boston should have kept the pick then.

But who else would we get from the 3rd team is what I wanna know, but we would have to know the 3rd team first for sure. The person from the 3rd team better be something good, because some Philly fans will trash Billy Kings house if it's a trade that sucks for Philly. And yea why did they trade there pick then is a good question. I mean they could have had Rudy Gay, Foye someone.
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! Maybe it is maybe it isn't. If AI does get traded though it would be nice not to see him in our division rivals uniform. If he does leave though good luck to where ever he goes.

Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! Who would they offer for Allen Iverson? Wally Sczerbiak and Gerald Green? Come on. They'd have to give up Paul probably, to get AI.

For one, trading Pierce for AI is pointless for both teams, especially us because Paul is more efficient and he's been around here so long. Every single rumor/report/conversation I have heard about this deal - they have not mentioned Pierce once except "Iverson and Pierce would be an outstanding duo" or whatnot. And Philly is going to rebuild, trading AI to the Celtics makes sense because we have hella young talent to give them in return, plus two salary matchers in Wally or Ratliff. It makes sense for Philly, but for Boston, I'm not so sure because I don't want to give up too much young talent and look back on it in 4 years and kick ourselves in the ass for it, while AI is 35 and Green is 24.

Although they said they don't want Szczerbiak, so i know there will have to be a third team involved.

You dont have the young "talent" to make a trade for AI without sending Pierce, unless you want to ship away all your young guys.
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! what are you talking about?? You obviously have no clue about what's going on with this AI deal, bc King said they wanted Ryan Gomes, and we have plenty of young talent to appease philly. seriously, just stop talking about if you have no clue.
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! Philly management loves Ryan Gomes and likely Delonte West. Boston has plenty of young pieces that would be valuable chips to other teams. Such as West, Gomes, Green, Jefferson, Rondo, Telfair. Rondo might be involved, that is if they can pry him away from Danny.
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! I dont know what Philly would want for AI. You wouldnt be able to ship all those guys for AI alone as well...And 3 of those guys wont do for Allen Iverson. Sorry..
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! dude, you have no clue!! you obviously don't know how available AI is, or you're VASTLY underrating Bopston's young talent. I think it's a little, or alot, of both. Boston has plenty of chips for AI, and salaries to match.
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! "Vastly Underrating". Sorry dude, but all of them are just average starters or bench players. Nothing special. Allen Iverson wont go for a few 8 ppg prospects..

Potential plays a huge role, and their is no doubt in my mind these guys will improve. But I also think this trade is 50/50 right now. Sure, AI is as good as gone and Boston has the most interest, but will Philly pull the trigger? Will a 3rd team become involved to work something out? Will we give up too much young talent for a 31 year old?Too many questions are circulating around all this, but who knows. A trade couldn't go down until the 12 regardless (assuming Boston-Philly isn't landing a deal straight up).
Re: READ THIS NOW and tell me this isn't a sign! These guys wont be anything more than solid IMO. None of them have huge potentials, and I'm guessing you've been drinking too much Celtics brand Kool-Aid.
