A few picks before the Chicago Bears selected Wisconsin offensive tackle Gabe Carimi at No. 29 overall, general manager Jerry Angelo failed to complete a trade with the Baltimore Ravens in order to move up and take Carimi three picks earlier. Due to a miscommunication, the Ravens ended up passing the pick to the Kansas City Chiefs, who selected wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin at No. 26.
