    A few picks before the Chicago Bears selected Wisconsin offensive tackle Gabe Carimi at No. 29 overall, general manager Jerry Angelo failed to complete a trade with the Baltimore Ravens in order to move up and take Carimi three picks earlier.

    Due to a miscommunication, the Ravens ended up passing the pick to the Kansas City Chiefs, who selected wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin at No. 26. Baltimore then jumped back in the draft and took Colorado cornerback Jimmy Smith at No. 27.
