I'm not sure these playoffs were the best tribute to his memory. Dirk would still be at Emanuel if Luke had been playing PF.

Hmmm ... not sure about this post.

RIP Luke! Gone, but never forgotten.

Do you think Luke would have taken the cheap shots from Dirk, Chandler and Haywood like LA did?

I just don't think that using the playoff performance as some sort of tribute to Lucas is appropriate, but that's just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure, Mo would have wagged that finger at Dirk and gotten into his head about pushing off like he did.

That's precisely what he was saying - that this year's playoff performance (nor the last two before that for that matter) wasn't a fitting tribute to Maurice.

We know Luke wouldn't have claimed he was tired 2 games into the playoffs.

Luke had Big Red by his side.

Luke would have been suspended for the remainder of the playoffs by now though.

Someone should have reminded the team that this season was dedicated to Maurice Lucas. Maybe in the playoffs they would have played more like him, and less like a girls highschool team

Why wasn't it a fitting tribute? Seems a lot like what MIXUM got suspended for, IMO.

The Season was a Tribute, Hard hard fought battle through Adversity. The Enforcer would be proud.

AND his spirit lives on, through each and every season from here on out.

I wonder if they will continue to spot light his jersey in the Rose Garden?

Lets not kid ourselves. Mo would have put Barea, or any other guard that tried to drive the lane on his ass in Game 1.

Let's hope! He's as legend as they get.

Mo wouldn't last a week in today's NBA, he would get expelled after one game. Today's NBA is WEAK. Bunch of super star babies being coddled by stern and his ref's

Chris Johnson was the Enforcer last night! (although it kind of bit us in the butt since Dirk started playing awesome after that). :MARIS61:

Come on, G - we all know that taking the other side is your hobby here but this is a reach even for you isn't it?

Mixie got suspended for making a insensitive, dumbass comment about a Blazer legend upon his passing. Maxie was stating that the less than stellar effort the team put up against Dallas wasn't a fitting tribute to a Blazer that played tough and with a lot of heart.

How the hell are those two sentiments even remotely in the same league??? (Although I'm sure you'll find a way to mesh them into one just for the sake of argument.)

Why take the time to even respond to him?

Because the B's lost yesterday and out of the playoffs so I have nothing else to do in my life anymore?
