You have Joe Johnson (Who is a SG) and then you have Josh Childress, Josh Smith and Marvin Williams who are natural SF's. The Hawks will draft Shelden Williams to be their PF of the future. Based on where they were picked and their potential they go like this on the cutting board. 1. Marvin Williams - He is their future at SF, #2 pick. Untradeable. 2. Josh Smith - He has as much potential as Marvin but has a lot of air in his head. 3. Josh Childress - Good all-around skills, most likely to be dealt. Bottom line, these guys contracts are going to be up in a couple of years, I feel that they need to deal either Josh Smith or Josh Childress or both so Marvin Williams can get his career started at his natural position. Trading Josh Smith seems like a dumb thing to do, he had a very high effciency rating and averaging a mind blowing 2.6bpg but I think this team has to start putting it's team together and you can get very high value for Josh Smith. PG - Tyronn Lue SG - Joe Johnson SF - Marvin Williams PF - Shelden Williams PC - Zaur Pachulia I don't know, what do you guys think?

I agree. Marvin and Josh can both get starters minutes, if we trade Childress. Childress is a natural SG not SF. Chilress needs to be dealt for a true PG, or Center. If we do that we wont be half bad..

I really think that Marvin could thrive in a 6th man role for the Hawks much like he did in college. This way they can evaluate each player longer before they make a decesion on who to deal. Childress is a 2, and seems to be ok with coming off the bench. Josh Smith is a freak, I just can't imagine wanting trade him. Let's not forget about the likely hood of Harrington being signed and traded for something ie; big man or point. I think they are in good shape. They have their star in JJ and have the pieces to build around him and to move for other pieces. There is no quick fix for the Hawks, well unless they build a time machine and take Paul then they could resign Harrington and draft a big man, ouch.
