"The New Orleans Saints selected linebacker Martez Wilson out of Illinois with the eighth pick in the third round. Wilson, 6 feet 4, 250 pounds, was the second-fastest linebacker at the NFL Combine, running the 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds. Scouts suggest his instincts make him play slower on the field, though. He missed the 2009 season with a herniated disk in his neck but bounced back with a huge season in 2010, tallying 112 tackles, four sacks, 11 1/2 tackles for losses, three forced fumbles, an interception and a blocked punt."
