Randy Couture retired for the third (and final) time last night after literally getting his teeth kicked in by Lyoto Machida. It ended a prolific 14-year career that began at UFC 13 in front of 5,100 people in Augusta, Georgia, and finished in front of over 55,000 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Couture retires as a former UFC Heavyweight Tournament Champion, UFC Heavyweight Champion (x3), UFC Light Heavyweight Champion (x2), and UFC Hall of Fame inductee. His career record is 19-11 (16-8 UFC) including a remarkable 15 UFC title fights (8-7). His greatest achievement was coming out of retirement in 2007 to defeat incumbent UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia at UFC 68 in the Fight of the Year.
