Microsuck, an exuberant global mod wreaked havoc in here last night, mainly in the off topic forum. He had no business in here, in fact he was not assigned to this forum. I was able to restore a number of threads, but he deleted a lot of threads and posts. He is banned. This wont happen again! We have restricted permissions of all staff members except Admins so they cannot physically remove anything any more. They can soft delete and admins can restore all threads and posts so no permanent damage can be done. Again so sorry for the disruption of your community!
You can trust me. The blazer forum has had ongoing problems that is for sure. The Nets forum was a problem, they left. I didnt assign them. I wasnt even here. There was a mod that came in here not long after I joined, staff asked me to do something about him, I banned him from the blazer forum. Staff cannot cause permanent damage any longer! I took care of that this morning. As for BBB.net, when Basel did what he did, I was in the hospital with a stroke. By the time I got back, all of you had moved. I never told him to act the way he did. You can trust me. I do not have a hidden agenda to destroy the blazer forum.
I applaud TBF's efforts to build up our other forums. I think it's something we all want to see. TBF has to be one of the hardest working admins on any site! Unfortunately, one of the new guys went off on his own, editing and deleting posts and threads. It's obviously not our policy to do such things. And he had no responsibilities to watch over this forum in the first place.
i think that tbf is a computer, there is really no other explanation for him taking everything so completely literal
im pretty sure nobody cares actually, the blazers just got knocked out, you could erase every thread on the entire site, and we would get over it in about 30 seconds oooh except the bodacious babes one, leave that
I applaud your efforts to boost the forum as a whole TBF, but I think this goes with making people mods/global mods/producers when they haven't even posted here before. I see guys who are producers/global mods with only six or seven posts. How could they possibly have the pulse of the forum when they're brand new? This was an inevitable occurrence.
I agree with you. However, if we can get people to join up and help generate some activity, I would be all for it. Most of the guys coming on seem to just want a fancy title.
