Salt Lake were resting a several key players after the midweek match in the CONCACAF Champions League. However, that team is deep and their subs could make the playoffs. With Kyle Beckerman playing (he was suspended for the CL match), I would have thought Timbers would struggle as he is one of the top midfielders and is the main reason why RSL is as good as they are. Even without Olave, Saborio and Espindola, this was a good win.

    How did Chara look?

    Saborio started.

Chara looked pretty good. He won balls, tackled well, and made some nice passes. He plays pretty deep, but does work his way forward a good deal. His understanding with Perlaza was evident. His ability to win balls and start counter attacks is gonna come in handy.

    Saborio went 90'. My bad.

Where did Chara play? In the middle or out right?

    Middle.

it went from left to right, Alhassan, Chara, Jewsbury, Nagbe,

Middle. Him and Jewsbury took turns getting forward.
The Alhassan, Nagbe, Jewsbury, Chara midfield looks pretty good. Kinda small, but plenty of skill. Hall moved from left mid to right back.
