    After the Blazers are eliminated, I have to figure out a new team to root for. I know some of you don't care, but I always have a pecking order. Here's mine. I will always root for the higher team on this list.

    1. Grizzlies
    2. Hawks
    3. Mavericks
    4. Celtics
    5. Bulls
    6. Lakers
    7. Thunder
    8. Heat

    I hate the Hawks and would love to see Dallas vs. Chicago for the finals. The reason why I root for Dallas now is I want our first round loss to be meaningful. Meaning... Well it taste much better knowing the team that beat us in the first round made it to the finals.

    That makes it worse Mags, because it makes me think that if Dallas can make it to the Finals, WE could have made it to the Finals.... :(

    At this point I just root for tragedy. Taking joy in other team's pain is about the only way I'm going to enjoy the rest of the playoffs. I'd love to see another team have a 4th quarter meltdown in game 7 or something.

    Not for me... We could have easily said that we could have reached the finals and just lost to the champs. Sits much better than losing to, say NOH, then them losing in the second round to the Mavs or Lakers.

    My thread was solely based on my own potential pleasure as a viewer. While I don't really want Miami to make the Finals, I'd enjoy watching them play Dallas/Memphis/OKC over Chicago. Plus, once the Finals hit, I've never really cared who won, outside of the Lakers, who are easy to root against for me as a Blazer fan.
