I can't say I am familar with Will Blalock but with the clips they showed he looks like he could be a pretty good pick for No. 60. I think this could provide some competition for Acker but I don't see either of them getting significant minutes. I think if Blalock signs with us for this year he will spend a lot of time in Sioux Falls with the Skyforce like Acker and Amir did last year only with Fayetteville.
I don't too much about Blalock but in his video clips he looks like a street baller maybe in the Sebastian Telfair mold. The only knock they said about him is he needs to improve his outside shooting but no doubt has slashing abilities. Being the last pick in the draft tho I don't see him getting many minutes and might be sent to the NBDL, I think the Pistons will still look for a baCk up to Chauncey and w/ the trade of Evans Flip will finnaly give more minutes to Delfino, or they got rid of cap room to find a baCk up to Rip/Tay. I love the fact that Blalock can dunk at 6-0 which also puts him in the Nate Robinson mold. The Pistons and their fans(including me) will be holding our breaths till we see what happens to Ben Wallace. HoLLa baCk
Even though I nor anyone else here knows too much about Blalock, Joe D knows what he is doing, and Jay Bilas said he was somewhat of a steal where we got him. I hope after a year or two in the NBDL he can help the team out.
