With dwight being a free agent in a little over a year it could be similar to Melo forcing a trade to the knicks if that's what dwight really wanted. I don't think magic fans could handle two HOF centers bolting for the Lakers.

I've been assuming a Bynum-for-Howard swap will happen sometime before Howard reaches free agency. LA won't need both and Orlando would definitely rather have Bynum, in my opinion, than seeing Howard walk for nothing.
Then, Deron Williams will force a trade next season, and the Lakers will have Howard, Williams, and Bryant in their starting line-up.
Pau for Williams? If I were the Lakers, I'd probably rather deal Kobe for Deron. Gasol and Bryant are about equally valuable now and Gasol has more good years left, IMO.
