I agree the lakers are good enough to pull it off. But I also think Dallas is good enough to sweep them. Kobe will come to play. The question is what other Laker is going to get hot? I think it has to be Odom.

Look for the refs to be factors. This next game will be physical. There will be lots of fouls. The question will be who they are called on? Who gets in foul trouble?

DaRizzle, did you see the memo from Stern, too?

For the record, I thought it was a wonderful script, full of twist and turns with a surprise ending!

The Lakers are done. Gasol has been struggling yes, but Kobe can't take it to the rim all he does is settle for jumpers on that gimpy ankle. Read Hollinger's analysis after game 2, Kobe had one inside attept in the last two games and he bricked it. They had the 6th man of the year on the bench and it was still one of the worst benches in the league, now Odom won't be on the bench in game 3. There is no way the Lakers will win 4 of the next 5 games, I'll bet my car on it.

Stern is upset at Kobe making Gay remarks. (Image is everything with Stern - and unlike Rapegate - it was all on TV for everyone to see).

He needs to make it a LeBron league. The Lakers without Ref support are not as good as they seemed before.

This has a "let's break Cuban's heart all over again by favoring D-Wade in the finals" feel written all over it.

You realize Kobe is getting fouled 2-5 times whenever he is past halfcourt by either Kidd or Marion right?
Pau gets a ticky tack at the end of game 1 to give the Mavs the victory.

Im not blaming the refs at all but cmon...

Yeah Kobe is basically fouled every 30 seconds he is on the court. Sometimes he is foulded sitting on the bench. Wednesday he was foulded during pregram warmup.

If Dirk gets the kind of calls in Dallas he did when he played against Portland then LA will get swept.

He went to the line 30 times in the first two games in Dallas and only 11 times in two games in Portland.

In the first two games in LA Dirk went to the line only 10 times total.
LA better hope the same bullshit doesn't happen to them or they are going to get swept.

Sorry, Lakers fans. It's over on Sunday afternoon. Sweep. Dallas is the better team. This isn't 2006. Dallas has HOF point guard, Marion, and top 3 defensive player of the year candidate Tyson Chandler now. They're not gonna fold. Kobe blew it when he choked at the end of game 1. It's all good. Lakers had a nice run.

Nope. Even though the game is in Dallas, it's at 12:30pm PT. That's not good for Lakers. They're bodies know what time it is in LA. Plus, there are less than 40 hours between games. Death for Lakers.
