He's a Laker "fan." I don't think his kind care enough. Half of them probably already switched to Heat fans.

First full game I've watched since our elimination. LMAO. Watching them get dismantled by Dirk and Peja was awesome.

Which was a dumbass move by Jackson. The dude is suffering in a slump and lacks confidence, and you just start piling on him in a must-win game? Even I know that Gasol is not the kind of guy who uses that talk as motivation.

Did anyone else just catch what Rick Carlisle said about the Mavs crowd?

"You gotta give our crowd a lot of credit. I mean it was every bit as loud as it was in Portland in here tonight (sic)"

That says a lot. Both how loud Portland fans are, but just how much of an impact it has. I really wish Portland fans could experience a 2nd round and Conference finals again. (of course, a finals would be swell too)

Tonight's crowd was fuckin weak! No enthusiasm at all until Dirk went into GOAT mode, and Peja found the fountain of youth.

Dirk is a freakin beast. I was too close to the situation a few weeks ago and couldn't bring myself to acknowledge it (didn't really want to, either), but stepping away from it really does provide a different perspective.

I think ESPN has historically had poor audio for crowds.

Would be awesome, but not with the current team as constructed (unless Oden becomes an absolute monster, but that is pretty much a huge if at this point). No great penetrator, and even though Aldridge has greatly improved, we are still fairly weak having a presence in the low post. Plus, our team is to jump shot happy, and are way to streaky to make any kind of noise in the playoffs. I hope this team can prove me wrong, but I cannot see it with our current guys.

Mavs are all jumpshooting and they're a game away from the WCF! It's not the "jumpshooting" that is our problem. It's the horrible shooters we have taking those shots.

I see a few posts in there about DAL getting better after Game 4 in our series, and how BRoy made the Mavs more focused.

So in an odd, convoluted way, BRoy is beating the Lakers.

    yay....?

    Jordan > Kobe

As if we needed any more proof, I think we saw more of it tonight. The guy is a choke artist in the big game. Always has been. Jordan never let his teams fall apart like this. Ever.

LOL. Even Dirk JUST NOW mentioned Game 4 as the turning point in his post game interview.
