It appears as though Ezekiel Jackson is officially gone from "The Corre" after being attacked by the group on last night's WWE SmackDown! broadcast. Wade Barrett tweeted the following last night: "It's been a pleasure working with you, Zeke. Zeke got too big for his boots. I hope he has learned a valuable lesson." Source: EWN
Similar scenario is happening with the Nexus right now. Mason Ryan is starting to slowly depart from the Nexus.
Yup, and I'm not sure how much I agree with either of them. I really don't view either of them as a talent that can hold their own as a singles competitor at this point.
They are separating the Power houses, they don't have any single competitors that are mid-carders dominating enough, so I'm glad that they're making Zeke go down him own path. Although he may seem like trash, he certainly does have the power for example picking up Big show and other's by making us go, "Wow" he just give's a little bit of that feeling you know.
When they separated the Nexus, and jettisoned members left and right (injuries and other reasons), the whole storyline lost a ton of luster. I like CM Punk, but they've just squandered any momentum that the nexus had. Sometimes the WWE knows a good thing and goes with it. Other times they don't and drop it like a hot potato.
Him and Mason Ryan both have the 'Wow' factor because of their size, but I think they're both pretty raw in the ring, and I'm just not convinced either of them can be great singles competitors.
People are calling Mason Ryan "Batista 2.0 and considering the fact that Batista has now lost his MMA carrer after his supposed contract feel through It would be pretty logical for WWE to try to bring Batista back to the WWE and if that happens a Feud between the 2 could really bring in some serious ratings in my honest opinion. However I do not see Zeke getting to much of a push this year.
