What grade would you guys give the Sixers for their drafting last night??? I would give them a B. They got themselfs their athletic wingman to compliment Iguodala and managed to get a good defensive player in Bobby Jones by trading w/ Minnesota. The only thing is he's also an athletic swingman as well and he might not get much playing time to help us much anyways. So we did fill up our needs but we got no player that we are sure will make a big impact. We also got that other guy from Toronto but I doubt he even plays one NBA game for us. I feel we had a solid draft but nothing great.

I loved it when Philly got Bobby Jones, because it says they are in the process of getting good defenders. Jones was one of the best defensive players in the draft, so it was a great pickup. I'm not sure why they picked Carney though, like Drob said, Thabo probobly wouldve been a better fit for this team. B

IMO I thought they should have kept Thabo. He seems like a better fit than Carney to me. They would have had some sick D in the wings with Thabo and Iggy out there. Still could have really used a point.

I think it was stupid of them to pass on Marcus Williams at the 13th!I think our execs did a pretty good job though. We got some defense and athleticism, even though we only had one mid-first round pick. Still probably should have picked up Williams though.Don't bash these guys, you can't expect them to get a superstar right away with only the 13th pick.It would be cool if they picked up Allan Ray too. I don't believe that guy wasn't even drafted!

Allen Ray is on the Celtics summer team, whoot whoot. I will keep my theory that there is more than meets the eye with Marcus droping that far, smells fishy.

I'd give them a C. Now they have a logjam on the wings. It would have been smarter to get a guy like Rajon Rondo or Marcus Williams with their pick. But i do love the Bobby Jones pick. For some reason i just really like the guy. He's a great defender, he has size, there's definitely room for him in this league. getting that edvin guy or whatever was just a waste of money.

I like Carney, but he plays the same position as Iguodala 2/3.I give the Sixers a C on this draft. Because they could have filled the PG position by getting Marcus Williams, and instead they got someone who plays the same position as Iguodala. They should have found a way to do the trade with Boston before they traded there 7th pick so they could have gotten Foye like Billy King wanted, or Rudy Gay. Or they could have contacted Minny they had the 6th pick, and I am sure they would want AI. Could have been AI for: Davis, Griffen, Hassel, and there 6th pick.
